With screen getting smaller and smaller on netbooks and laptops its important to be able to remove as much as possible from titlebar, status bar and menu.
These are some plugin that I use to remove unneeded bars.
Autohide statusbar: removes bar from bottom of firefox and only shows up when a page is loading or you go over a link for a second. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1530
Smart Stop/Reload: Replaces stop and reload seperate button with just one button so that when you are loading page its a stop button and when page is loaded it s reload button. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7401
Tiny Menu: Replaces standard menu bar with tiny menu popup. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1455
